Air Washer Unit Design: The unit incorporates Evaporative cooling design using specially treated cross-corrugated 45degree/45degree x 7mm flute height media treated with stiffening & wetting agents, anti-rot & rigidifying resins to extend its life span & to provide maximum cooling efficiency.
Cross corrugations maximizes the mixing of air & water, further eliminates water carry over Unlike regular spray air washer system; this system does not require any W/ S type Eliminators Cross Corrugations work as eliminators thus avoiding need of further eliminators
Eliminators not only have high initial capital cost, but also add to energy loss due to pressure drops against which blowers have to be selected. Thus it saves enormous initial capital cost of eliminator bank & also saving in electric power during running. Total static pressure loss in humidifier shall be 15mm WG only
Saturation efficiency 50 to 98% can be achieved depending upon air velocity, depth of cooling pads. Air before entering cooling pads is passed through HDPE washable filter media having Dust filtration efficiency 90% down to 20 Micron, Cool air leaving the unit is thus free of dust
Airflows horizontally while recalculating water flows vertically down the media surface. Water is collected at the bottom of the bed & recirculated again by a pump Centrifugal DIDW blower is used for taking the treated air to the space to be cooled & air is exhausted from windows, cracks, and door. 25 Air changes per hour will keep the environment cool.
